Project Description

Residential:
Farley House
Harpenden, Hertfordshire

This 11,000 sq ft house replaced a modern but Locally Listed dwelling set on a large site in the Harpenden Conservation Area.

The house uses beautiful handmade bricks laid in a decorative flemish bond and roofed with handmade reclaimed tiles. Internal concrete walls and floors made for the very best solid base which in turn allows for beautiful fine tolerance finishes.

We like the way that the staircase floats as it rises through the house, barley touching the walls and with a fine line of leather handrail mounted on glass balustrades.

This large property has a wonderful flow of space and many distinguishing features.
